Home Secretary savages owner of Facebook and Instagram for failing to protect children from 'sickening abusers' with encryption plan
, over its decision to encrypt all messaging services after it failed to give assurances it will protect young people from “sickening abusers”.and Safeguarding Minister Sarah Dines have made a direct appeal to Meta’s chief executive Mark Zuckerberg, urging him to implement safety measures to protect users or abandon the plans to implement end-to-end encryption altogether.
