Facebook owner Meta plans to begin widespread job cuts today in a move which could have major implications for Ireland.
Employees who are affected are reportedly to be informed of the social media giant’s cost-reducing plans later this morning after Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s Ceo, told executives on Tuesday that he was accountable for the company’s “missteps”, according to The Wall Street Journal.
