Unfortunately, these behind-the-scenes adjustments forced the game to be delayed continuously – that is until in-house rumors surrounding the game started to die down in 2020. This indicated that Nintendo finally found the crew that was right for the job and simply put their heads down to start work on Metroid Prime 4. Now, we may finally be getting the highly anticipated release date that everyone has been waiting more than six years for.
It’s important to keep in mind, though, that this is still merely speculation at the time of writing since Nintendo hasn’t actually stated anything regarding the next Metroid game. However, another Nintendo Direct showcase could be announced any day now so it may only be a matter of time until we receive more details on the upcoming entry.
