Michael Beale has ordered his strikers to be less wasteful in front of goal as Rangers prepare to go head to head with PSV Eindhoven for a place in the Champions League.
Beale said: “We got into good areas and were wasteful and I’ve said that a few times now. Our approach play was good but the final pass and ball needs to be better. We had 20-plus shots again, 10 on target, and Jamie MacDonald made some big stops. It’s got to be a typical Rangers Ibrox European night where the fans have to be up and the players have to take the game to PSV.Beale made eight changes on Saturday, resting James Tavernier, Borna Barisic, John Souttar, Nico Raskin and Todd Cantwell.
