Uachtarán Michael D Higgins hosted the Palestinian football team ahead of historic Irish friendly this week.
The Palestinian Women’s National Team landed in Ireland this week ahead of their friendly against Dublin team Bohemians Football Club.The team then headed to Áras an Uachtaráin to meet with Michael D Higgins.
All proceeds from the match will be donated to Sport For Life Palestine, Medical Aid For Palestinians and Aclaí Palestine. While the event is sold out, the club is still accepting donations that will further help with aid. “There is no better way to commemorate the Nakba than by having our national team come to one of the few countries in Europe that is constant and consistent in its solidarity with our just cause. Thank you, Ireland, thank you to the Irish people, and thank you Bohemian FC.”
