Michael Keaton ROLLS onto the stage at sagawards and pays tribute to nephew who died after drug battle
The actor, 70, won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series. He rolled onto the stage to collect his SAG Award after he was held up in the men's room. When he made it to the stage, Keaton said, 'Sorry, quick trip to the men’s room, and it’s packed by the way'.
His temporary absence cause presenter Salma Hayek to joke she had 'stage fright' at the luxe ceremony. He was victorious for playing the role of Dr. Samuel Finnix on Dopesick. In his acceptance speech, Keaton dedicated the honors to his sister Pam and late nephew Michael. Keaton's late nephew Michael died in 2016 following an accidental overdose of heroin and fentanyl
