Michael Mosley's new Channel 5 show, which aired this Thursday, is a three-part series that was one of the last to ever be filmed by the TV star before his tragic death in June

Dr Michael Mosley was seen on screens posthumously this Thursday as Channel 5 broadcast the first episode of his last TV project.

While exploring the possibility of having a heart attack, he referred to his father's death, stating he wouldn't "go the same way." The TV doctor said: "I just had a new test that can predict your heart attack risk before it happens." He checked whether his damage was reversible and tests confirmed he did not have inflamed arteries, indicating his chances of having a heart attack were small. Dr Mosley commented at the time: "So another way of looking at this is saying I have a 94 per cent chance of making it to 74, which means I have a 94 per cent chance of beating my dad."

The nation mourned as the beloved 67-year-old presenter passed away this year, having delved into human biology in his final documentary, probing the mysteries of ageing, our fragile bones, and the latest in cancer treatment just weeks before his show aired. Tragedy struck when the familiar face from This Morning vanished while on a summer break in Greece. His lifeless body was tragically found by rescue workers on the island of Symi shortly after.
