Certain fruits are better than others when it comes to losing weight, he says
Doctor Michael Mosley has recommended that people ban certain fruits from their diet if they are trying to lose weight. The health expert has expressed his love for Mediterranean diets, as well as intermittent fasting, Daily Record reports.
Michael noted: "Your waist should measure no more than half your height. Too much belly fat leads to increased risk of certain cancers, heart disease and Type 2 diabetes." Michael also said that people should be upping their protein intake, consuming foods such as oily fish, prawns, chicken and turkey. For meat-free eaters, beans - particularly edamame - dairy, nuts and seeds can provide a good amount of protein too.
Snacking should be avoided in general, but those who require a little pick me up should be looking at products like nuts, seeds or non-starchy vegetables.
