New LoveIsland contestant Gemma Owen reveals how her dad's impressive football career will influence her
Michael Owen's daughter Gemma Owen has opened up on the influence her dad's incredibly successful football career has had as she admitted she's got a competitive nature ahead of entering this year's Love Island.
What's more, Gemma has always been massively into equestrian sports herself, having competed in dressage in the Olympics for Great Britain since she was only 11. "But at the same time, I’m not going to mess up something for someone who is in a proper relationship or get in the way of a couple if they have a genuine connection," the star said.As fans gear up for another sun-soaked all-encompassing summer filled with love, drama, friendship and romance, Gemma was asked why she's chosen this year to enter the now-famous villa.
Asked what she will bring to this year's series, the star said: "I would say I’m fun, flirty and fiery.
