The iconic Formula 1 driver has completely stayed out of the public eye since suffering life-changing injuries from a tragic skiing accident back in December 2013
Michael Schumacher is no longer able to speak and requires constant care from staff and family, according to a leading Formula 1 reporter.
The German driver is looked after by a team of caregivers and his wife Corinna at their home in Lake Geneva in Switzerland. But Felix Gorner, a journalist close to the Schumacher family, has given a rare update on Michael's condition, revealing that he "can no longer communicate verbally"."He needs constant care and is completely dependent on his caregivers. And he can no longer express himself verbally."
The comments come after Elisabetta Gregoraci, the ex-wife of former F1 team boss Flavio Briatore, previously opened up about Michael's current state.
