Michelle Heaton has shared how she explained her alcoholism and recovery to her young children.
After spending some time at the rehab, Michelle emerged healthier and has continued on her sobriety journey.
‘We just told them that Mummy was allergic to Posecco and then it naturally evolved to Mummy doesn’t drink alcohol,’ she said. The Gateshead-born star – who was previously admitted to hospital after collapsing in active addiction – went on to discuss how addiction affected other aspects of her life.‘My eyes were puffy and my skin was swollen, itchy and covered in marks, as my liver wasn’t working properly. My confidence was nonexistent,’ she shared.
