Michelle Williams deserves an Oscar for her impression of Justin Timberlake for Britney Spears' new memoir.
In one chapter, the ‘Toxic’ singer recalls the moment when she and her ex ran into R&B singer Ginuwine and Justin took it upon himself to change his accent – which Michelle tried out to keep the story accurate.In the viral clip, the 43-year-old reads about the stars’ meeting in New York, in which she claims: “One day J and I were in New York, going to parts of town I had never been to before.
“Walking our way was a guy with a huge blinged-out medallion. He was flanked by two giant security guards. J got all excited and said so loud ‘Oh yeah, fo’ shiz fo’ shiz, Ginuwine, what’s up homie?'” Britney claimed that Justin’s boyband NSYNC, who were white hip-hop fans, “tried too hard to fit in” with the Black artists they hung out with trying to adapt the way they speak.
People couldn’t get enough of Michelle’s commitment to the bit, calling for her to win awards for her performance. “Honestly Michelle Williams imitating Justin Timberlake is just amazing,” penned one, while another added: “Michelle William’s Grammy for best spoken word album secured.”Blake Livelydancing on iceUh Oh.
