Lynch was present at the scary scenes that saw Irish fans struggle to get into the Opap Stadium in Greece earlier this year.

Mick Lynch has revealed that he was caught up in the chaos outside the stadium ahead of Ireland's Euro 2024 qualifier with Greece in June.

Lynch is also a supporter of the Irish football team and often travels abroad to watch Ireland play. He did so this Summer and headed to the Greece game alongside his son, but was subjected to unsettling scenes outside the stadium. For those that can't recall, the game at the Opap Arena was notable for the difficulty that Irish fans had in getting access to their seats inside the stadium.
