A total of 152 laps under Mick Schumacher's belt on his first day in the Mercedes W14 👏 F1
Mick Schumacher “loved every minute” of his first taste of the Mercedes W14, following a day of tyre testing in Barcelona.
Both Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have praised the 24-year-old for the work he has done behind the scenes so far this year, with Schumacher having been in the sim until 2am over the weekend as the team worked on solutions for the Spanish Grand Prix on the way to a double podium finish. “This experience will definitely benefit me in my role. I have a better understanding of what to look out for and what to work on.“I also have a better understanding of all the procedures and how the team works trackside. That would be a key factor in case I ever have to jump in and race.
