Perry posted footage from a sparring session in which he wrestled his opponent to the canvas, days before he takes on Paul
Mike Perry has vowed to "get dirty" in his fight with Jake Paul after releasing sparring footage days before the first bell.
And in sparring footage posted to social media, Perry suggested he will use his wrestling skills against Paul as he manhandled his opponent to the ground. Pinning the unknown fighter to the ropes, Perry then executes a takedown which would be much more at home in the cage than the ring. The caption on the video reads: "You ain’t ready for these hands Jake Paul. Time to get dirty."
But Paul has also said he would be willing to face Perry in a bare-knuckle fight, telling The MMA Hour : "I want to do an MMA fight and I think Perry is actually a good opponent for MMA and maybe bare-knuckle. I haven’t thought about it but I’m down." Perry, however, doubts his rival would follow through, telling MMA Fighting : " One thing I want to remind Jake over and over again is that he wouldn’t do a bare-knuckle fight.
