Miley knows how to roll with the punches!
on NBC, but it wasn't just the ball that dropped to ring in the new year!, Miley gracefully handled a wardrobe malfunction in the middle of a performance. Just as soon as Miley started singing her iconic hit "Party in the U.S.A.
In true Miley fashion, she made a little joke about the whole thing. "Everybody's definitely looking at me now," Miley said, laughing off the brief topless moment. "I'm still in the most clothes that I've ever worn onstage." She also made the malfunction part of her speech at the end of the night and a lesson for 2022. "Thank you so much, everybody, thank you. Tonight's show was all about being flexible, rolling with the punches, and making the best out of even the worst circumstances. And that resilience shouldn't end here. Let's bring that into the New Year with us," Miley shared with the audience.
That silver outfit may not make it to Miley's next performance, but regardless of what she's wearing, she knows how to put on a great show and roll with the punches. Happy New Year, Miley!
