The rising British musician talks heartbreak, life on tour, and her EP 'Seven Shades of Heartbreak.'
The 21-year-old British musician had a jam-packed schedule ahead of her spring industry performance at Ludlow House late last month. She's one of the latest signees at Epic Records, and so far, the vocalist's debut EP,Webb is a multitalented musician. The singer-songwriter can be seen playing multiple instruments during her set on tour with platinum-selling artist Tate McRae and takes inspiration from fellow U.K.
It has been incredible to see the growth from"Before I Go" to my single"House on Fire." This is especially [true from] traveling around different places. Also, coming from the U.K. to America to build a fan base is incredible. I think every song has something to do with the past—even if it is something I had to dig [deeper for]. It can also be a friend's feelings. I am there through their experience. For me, everything I write is always mixed up. Sometimes seeing movies or [art] can drop ideas. It can take me down a road where I did not even realize I had feelings.Yes! I think as a writer, you can't always let go of things as quickly as other people would. You have to hold onto it.
