Miriam O'Callaghan on why she never wants The Late Late Show gig on RTE One
Miriam O’Callaghan said she never wants to take over The Late Late Show and admitted she has some regrets about eating up precious family time to do weekend chat shows in the past.
“I am not afraid of live TV, but I prefer current affairs and you have to believe what you believe in. “To be honest, I do work very long hours and working Saturday nights really ate into my family life.” When asked if she had any advice for hopefuls heading into the new role, she said: “The one thing I don’t do in life is give advice.“They should do whatever is right for them and I will be watching and applauding.”
