This is embarrassing," while another commenter said "The hosts seem like they just learned to read. Or they're too bored to care."
Many questioned why the pageant wasn't on network television, but instead, through a streaming service. "Not tweeting Miss America tonight. Not even on network television and whole broadcast seems low budget," cheekily a user. "As a tweeter of pageants, I am very disappointed. Used to be one of my favorite nights of the year. SAD!"
