Gardai have no idea where the mother and son are and said the investigation into their disappearance 'remains active'
The family of Dayla Durnin, 24, have not heard a word from her since she vanished with her eight year-old son, Kyran, on Wednesday August 28.

She added: "I just want to tell Dayla to please get in touch and tell us that she and Kyran are alright. The children and I are worried sick and miss her very much.
