The woman was missing for almost two weeks
The search for an 84-year-old woman who was missing for almost two weeks has been stood down after the discovery of a body.
In a short update to social media, family confirmed: "Update on missing person Teresa Tannian. The search for Teresa Tannian has been stood down as her body has been found. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to all those who provided support during this difficult time.. May Teresa rest in peace."
Laura posted the following message to Facebook: "It's been over a week since my mother Teresa Tannian went missing. Despite extensive searches in Killina involving Gardaí, the Garda helicopter, drones, sniffer dogs, Civil Defence, volunteers, neighbours, friends, and family, we still haven't found her. We've also received possible sightings from around the country, but unfortunately, none have led us to her.
