Police say they found the battered body of a missing woman Tuesday at her boyfriend’s Lindenhurst home, the day after the boyfriend died in a head-on vehicle collision in the Rockford area.
The Lake County Major Crime Task Force is continuing to investigate the incident. No identities have been released.
The woman was last seen Sunday leaving her Yosemite Parkway home in Algonquin, and police said she was reported to be going to her boyfriend’s. According to police and local media reports, the accident happened around 9 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Bates and Freeport roads.
