Mochinut is bringing a sweet dish to Frisco and Richardson: the mochi doughnut.
A combination of the Japanese-style mochi and traditional doughnuts, the mochi doughnut brings a chewy texture and burst of flavorful sweetness, according to the company. The doughnut shop offers several flavors — ranging from churro and cheesecake to black sesame and matcha.
For those whose palates prefer savory to sweet, Mochinut also offers Korean rice flour hotdogs with a wide selection of toppings — including mozzarella, potatoes, cheddar cheese, hot cheetos, crispy ramen and cereal. The Los Angeles-based doughnut shop opened its first location last year and now has more than 60 locations around the world, including South Korea and Thailand.
