ICYMI: Moe says Liberal-NDP alliance in Ottawa an ‘affront to democracy’
Moe said he doesn’t think the Liberals and the NDP have the best interests of Canadians in mind with their agreement that will keep the Liberals in power through 2025, arguing the NDP has given the Liberals a majority government, which is what voters didn’t elect.
He said this means the provincial party agrees with the federal party sometimes but the two sides also disagree. The Liberals and federal NDP made a pact on Tuesday that would see the NDP support the government on confidence motions, like the budget and throne speech. When asked how the province will move forward with its relationship with Ottawa, Moe said dialogue will continue.Article content
