Former Liverpool star Mark Lawrenson has tipped Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez to be at different clubs by the end of the transfer window.
Salah has a year remaining on his contract with Liverpool, and there is yet to be any notable signs of an extension being agreed anytime soon. Lawrenson has explained why he would not be surprised to see Salah leave Anfield this summer to move to Saudi Arabia.“I just think that Saudi Arabia would be the logical place for him to move to.
“I’d definitely keep Darwin Nunez because he frightens defenders,” said Lawrenson. “He doesn’t score enough goals with the chances that fall to him, but he’s so quick and that helps the other strikers as there’s more room to play in.
