Pictures have captured the moment police were forced to take action and pin down a man on Mad Friday before escorting him away during a dramatic arrest.
Mad Friday saw revellers hit the streets of Leeds to paint the town red prior to the last full weekend before Christmas. With many workplaces choosing Friday, December 16, as their work Christmas night out, Leeds was a busy place and photographs taken by a photographer show plenty of people hitting the tiles and having fun.
However, police were called in at one point it seems to arrest someone with pictures showing two police officers and a security guard pinning down a man on the floor. This same man was then escorted away from the scene by a number of West Yorkshire Police officers as revellers looked on.The last Friday before the Christmas period is known as Mad Friday, where people will flock to the bars and clubs to celebrate the end to another year.
