Monday frost to usher in warm week in central Pa., with nearly 80-degree highs

Showers and thunderstorms are possible several days this week.

The frost advisory expires at 9 a.m. Forecasters said temperatures will peak in the mid 60s Monday. The sky will likely remain overcast throughout the day, but no rain is expected.

But rain could start to fall after 11 p.m., overnight and into Tuesday morning, forecasters said. The sun will come out by the afternoon, forecasters said, and temperatures could reach the low 70s. Forecasters said Wednesday’s temperatures could peak near 80, but rain is in the forecast nearly all day. Showers are possible between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 3–9 p.m.

More rain could fall after 9 a.m. and before 9 p.m. Thursday, forecasters said.
