There was parity within the league. Eight of the 12 members have played in a BCS or New Year’s Six bowl game this century. Cal probably would’ve been a ninth if it weren’t for some Mack Brown shenanigans in 2004. Almost every school has enjoyed its moment in the sun.
Pac-12 After Dark gave diehard fans something to watch — and some pretty entertaining finishes along the way — to close out their Saturday nights.College football will be without its premier hub on the West Coast. It’ll certainly make the sport different. Whether these changes make it better is another question.
