Chancellor Rachel Reeves reveals new investment in the NHS ahead of Budget

“Our patients are our number one priority, and it will be deeply concerning that some may be seeing their conditions getting worse and seeking treatment elsewhere.”Almost all hospital chiefs – 96 per cent – are worried about the cold season.Day-to-day struggles mean clearing the treatment backlog is unlikely, they warned.
