JOHOR BARU: The sun was up again in parts of Johor, and with the floods receding, more evacuees were allowed to return home.

The five temporary relief centres in Segamat and Tangkak were also closed with the improved weather.

“Segamat is still the worst hit district with 2,460 victims, followed by Tangkak , Muar , Batu Pahat and Mersing .Vidyananthan said the PPS SK Tambang in Segamat had the most number of evacuees at 423, who were from Kampung Simpang Loi.
