More than £165,000 has been raised for families who lost loved ones and people injured in the devastating Co Donegal blast.

, with £80,000 brought in.Gerard McFadden, who lives in Brisbane, Australia, started the campaign after hearing of the heartbreaking incident in his hometown of Creeslough.

‘When things settle, we will be sitting down and working out what is best for the families and making sure they get this support.’Mr McFadden says he is ‘overwhelmed’ with the support – with lump sum donations of more than £4,000 even contributed.Shauna Flanagan Garwe, 5, and her dad Robert Garwe, 50, had reportedly gone to the shop to buy her mum a birthday cake when they were killed.
