Following the march, Sagarika Gnanaolivu, a parent of children at Bearden Primary and Bearsden Academy, and one of the organisers of the march, said: “This march marked the most incredible and positive start to our campaign. “We need our town to provide safe streets for everyone. From those doing the school run to shopping, visiting family or the local cafes - we all need to be able to get around without fear.
