Nearly 3,040 SaskPower customers remained without power Sunday morning as a result of extreme weather in southeastern Sask. on Saturday.

The outages are affecting people in town of Grenfell as well as Wapella, Sintaluta and Wolseley areas and part of Kenosee Lake. Rural areas south of Whitewood, Rocanville rural areas southwest of Wapella, and Sakimay First Nation are also affected.

SaskPower said in a news release that around 6,000 customers were impacted by the storm and there were many downed lines and broken structures caused by high winds and fallen trees.The news seems to be flying at us faster all the time.
