Woman who lost both arms in dog attack 'at times’ doesn’t understand ‘that she has lost her limbs'
Kyleen Waltman was mauled by three pit bulls last month while walking to her mother's home in rural South Carolina, 80 miles northwest of Columbia. The 38-year-old, who lost both arms in the attack, does not realize the extent of her injuries, and keeps asking her mother to hold her hand. 'She will ask our mama to hold her hand and mama says 'I am,' and Kyleen will say 'OK.
