The Steelmen's defender was left scratching his head after being on the end of more inconsistent decisions in Saturday's defeat to Aberdeen
Motherwell star Paul McGinn insists VAR is killing the game and players can’t get their heads around seemingly ever-changing handball rules.
A similar situation happened in Motherwell’s 3-3 draw with Ross County in October, where Victor Loturi handled the ball in the build-up to an Eamonn Brophy goal but it stood as Loturi wasn’t the eventual goal scorer in that passage of play. “But Loturi punched the ball for Ross County and then they scored. We were told then that because he doesn’t score the goal in the end, it counts.“Nobody knows what is going on, so it is quite frustrating. He added: “I am too far away from the penalty shout.“But the other one seems like they don’t really understand it.”
Caretaker boss Peter Leven saw Leighton Clarkson’s 25th minute strike prove enough to take all three points.
