Motorcycle rider hospitalised after collision with car.
Police are investigating after a green Kawasaki motorcycle and a red Hyundai Tucson car crashed on the B8039, near Lenziemill Road, Cumbernauld.A 28-year-old man, who was driving the motorcycle, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, with serious injuries.
The driver and passengers of the car were transported to University Hospital Monklands, Airdrie, and released after treatment for minor injuries.Sergent Gemma Blackadder said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are asking anyone who has not already spoken to officers and can assist with our investigation to get in touch
