Road users have been advised to seek an alternative route if possible

Motorists have been warned of a number of road closures and diversions in Belfast City Centre due to a notified parade.

On Saturday, October 28, traffic disruption is to be expected in the city due to a parade beginning at Writer's Square at midday. The parade will follow a route from there along Donegall Street and Royal Avenue, onto Donegall Square North. It is expected that Donegall Square may also be closed for a time while parade attendees gather in the area for speeches.During the parade and following speeches, police will be present to manage traffic flow and public safety in the area. To avoid potential delays, police have asked motorists to seek an alternative route for their journeys where possible.
