.RepMTG confronted RepBoebert in Capitol bathroom for refusing to back SpeakerMcCarthy's speakership bid: Report
On the first day the new Congress convened, the pair were heard yelling at each other inside the bathroom located near the speaker’s lobby in the Capitol building, according to the Daily Beast. The altercation occurred when Greene came out of a stall and confronted Boebert for receiving campaign funds from McCarthy during the midterm elections but refusing to vote for him as speaker.
It’s not clear how, or if at all, the altercation will affect the pair’s working relationship moving forward. The Washington Examiner reached out to both Greene and Boebert for comment but has not received a response.
