Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott are reportedly among a group of Irish trainers considering legal action over a new initiative set to be brought in by Horse Racing Ireland.
The Racing Post reports that a letter was sent to HRI earlier this week to inform them of an intention to initiate legal proceedings over the initiative. "But they have had races for, for example, riders with ten winners or fewer, trainers who have amassed a certain amount of prize money etc, and that has gone down fine.
