this morning . Lane two of two is currently closed on the westbound carriageway between the A5076 and the A43.

National Highways East Midlands said the incident is a "multiple-vehcile collision" with emergency services currently on the scene. A spokesperson said: "Please allow extra time for your journey as there are delays of 50 minutes on the approach." Travel provider Inrix said there were "long delays" already with congestion stretching back to the A45 J14 at Little Irchester. Google Maps shows there is traffic on the A45 near Summer Leys Nature Reserve.
