A Spaniel puppy born with six legs and two vulvas is doing well but is likely to need "multiple surgeries" in the months to come. The female pup, later named Ariel by vet staff who thought she looked like a mermaid, was brought into a surgery by a member of the public.
It was then confirmed that Ariel had two extra legs and two vulvas. She was otherwise in reasonable condition, with her organs working well, the vet said, but Charlotte put her in for X-rays and further examination after monitoring her bolidy functions for two days.
