Which, according to the FAQ page, “MultiVersus will introduce a team-based 2 vs. 2 format with a strong emphasis on online cooperative gameplay.”, but the fact that they are actively saying they want it to be a big part of the game seems like a good sign.Okay, so the gameplay seems solid, and the idea of having online modes be actively supported is great. But none of that matters if the characters aren’t cool.
Pretty much anyone you would ever want in the game is in it. Characters from DC Comics, Hanna-Barbera, and Cartoon Network are confirmed to be in the game. This includes Batman and Superman, Shaggy and Velma, and Garnet and Steven Universe., you can see the rest of the confirmed characters. From Looney Tunes to Game of Thrones, a ton of Warner Bros. properties are represented.
The second thing we can see is that each character also has an icon on their portrait. This is to signify that the MultiVersus roster is broken up into classes. Shaggy and Batman are bruisers, Arya Stark and Harley Quinn are assassins, and Velma and Steven Universe are support; this goes back to the idea of the game focusing on team-based gameplay.
Even though these characters might have different classes, and they might come from different franchises, there’s something that they have in common: iconic voices. MultiVersus brings back
