Baby Thea was believed to have been two weeks old when she died
Nicole Dorothy Blain, 27, is charged with killing daughter Thea, who was believed to have been around two weeks old at the time of her death.Blain appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court in private on Thursday and made no plea. She was released on bail.Organisers raised around £1200 to help pay for the little one's funeral costs, however the page has now been suspended and is no longer accepting donations.
Posting on the fundraiser, organisers said Thea had 'gone to sleep for the last time' and asked for donations to help pay for a horse drawn carriage. It read: "Hey, we’re looking to raise some funds towards the best horse-drawn carriage for baby Thea. "Thea was just shy of three-weeks-old when she went to sleep for the last time on Friday. We want to help give Thea the most perfect horse drawn carriage for her final journey."The case was continued for further examination. Blain's next court appearance date has yet to be confirmed.
