Completely and utterly terrifying
A devastating fire has torn through a family home in Morecambe, leaving the victims with no belongings.
Tina told LancsLive: "There's been complete smoke damage in the hallway and the bathroom is out too. I've lost all of my clothes as the bedroom has been completely gutted. There's water damage in the kitchen and front room from the hose. It just all happened so quick." For now, the mum is still recovering from the incident that happened almost a week ago, saying it is "still fresh" and it's still yet to really hit her. She is currently living in temporary accommodation arranged by the local council, as she awaits rehoming and to find out the next steps.
"We're booked in for the next week [in the temporary housing] but after that, I don't know," Tina added. "The council are saying it could be six to 12 months for the house to be fixed, the roof has been damaged."
