'She was just a really good person and a good mummy'

A Belfast stylist says she was "inconsolable" when she learned of the death of her friend in South Africa earlier this month.

Crystal had started working with Joyce at her hair and beauty business earlier this year, having messaged her asking for an opportunity to come in. "She was so, so good in the job and she was really finding her feet - she joined me in February or March of this year.""Crystal was like a little ball of energy, she was always laughing and she was fiery too," she said."She was so creative and would have done anything for you, she went above and beyond for her clients.

"And that's what kind of hit me hard, because you don't expect your friend and colleague to go on a holiday, to a family wedding and to be so excited about it and then you find out they're not coming back. The funeral for Crystal was held in South Africa, but her family arranged for it to be shared online, which Joyce said was a really thoughtful gesture.
