Munster are back in action in the URC and, typically, have some key names returning but other key names facing scans that could see them miss a number of weeks or even the rest of the season
Denis Leamy admits man of steel Shane Daly's injury prognosis looks "pretty bad" as Munster wait on scans for the versatile back and prop Oli Jager.
“His robustness and his durability is something that has been a real strength of his, so it is a blow, it really is, that we lose someone like Shane for this weekend. The Reds hope to have Alex Nankivell and Jeremy Loughman back involved for Saturday's home clash with Edinburgh on Friday night after hamstring and hip injuries respectively.
“Dian did a very good job on a short-term contract," Leamy said. "We had Josh Wycherley come back against the Scarlets, who had a brilliant game for a guy just returning after being out for a number of months. His impact on the game was excellent.
