The Spartans captured two district awards following a 33-7 season, including Angela Spurlock receiving Coach of the Year. Spurlock recorded her 500th career victory during the year. Mascorro averaged 10.0 points, a team-high 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. Foy had a team-high 16.4 points and 3.0 steals per game in her varsity debut, adding 5.8 rebounds per game.

The Falcons won a share of their third consecutive 19-6A championship and finished 34-4 overall. All three of their playoff games went to overtime, including a 52-47 win against George Ranch and a 57-51 victory against Stratford.
