‘NO-ONE learns if they’re hungry’, says Zambia Orphans Aid UK founder Dr. Shimwaayi Muntemba, ahead of the BBC Radio 4 Appeal which takes place on Sunday.
The charity works with local community schools to improve food production and access to education for vulnerable children in Zambia and this weekend Children’s TV presenter Mwaka ‘Mwaksy’ Mudenda lends her support to the organisation.
Her support for Zambia Orphans Aid UK’s BBC Radio 4 Appeal is a vital step in raising awareness and funding for the charity’s work helping vulnerable children. Two trusts who are long term supporters of Zambia Orphans Aid have agreed to match donations up to £20,000, making any gifts to this appeal go further.
