Steven said when workers first inspected the damage to his living room, they believed it was an issue to do with the central heating in the flat above.
Steven said: "I've got mould on the walls, my carpet is soaking wet. It's just a mess and it's getting worse. "She said the surveyor was not going to be able to do much until it had all dried up. I got rather irate, in the nicest possible way. I said 'how can you expect it to dry out?'.
