'My mother-in-law ruined Easter Sunday dinner - and it's not the first time she's done this'
Easter Sunday is a day when family comes together to swap chocolate eggs and tuck into a traditional roast lamb dinner for lunch.
While it may seem like a generous gesture to bring dessert for the host, the daughter-in-law claimed its not the first time her mother-in-law has brought her own food to eat in her house and she was left feeling "undermined" and "disrespected". Her post read: "Spent ages shopping, cleaning, preparing, and cooking for Easter lunch yesterday for extended family. Spent ages making a really nice dessert.
"I just feel it is undermining, and no one has the bottle to go against her. I am sick of it. There were other things that happened, and collectively they make me feel like I'm someone they have to put up with and I feel disrespected in my own home." "I'd be upset too I love cooking and baking. If she wanted to make the food she'd need to invite me to hers."
